• Camera Permission: Used only when you choose to capture and upload photos of a property or your profile picture.
• Storage Permission: Used to select and upload images or documents from your device's gallery/files.
• Transaction Information: Payment amount, order reference, and transaction status, collected when you pay for Premium Services.

2. How We Use Information

• Create, verify, and manage your account.
• Display and manage your property listings.
• Help renters find nearby properties using location data.
• Process payments for Premium Services through our payment gateway partner(s).
• Send transaction confirmations, receipts, and service-related notifications.
• Improve app performance, features, and user experience.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with:

• Trusted service providers necessary to operate the app, such as authentication (Google), cloud storage, hosting, and analytics providers.
• PhonePe and/or other RBI-approved, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners, solely to process your payments securely and confirm transaction status.
• Government authorities or regulators where required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RentGoX or others.

RentGoX is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Third-Party Services

RentGoX may use trusted third-party services including Google Sign-In, cloud storage, analytics, mapping/location services, and payment processing (including PhonePe Payment Gateway). These providers may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

9. Google Play Compliance

RentGoX complies with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data policy and Permissions policy. We only request device permissions (location, camera, storage) that are necessary for core app functionality, and we do not collect sensitive data beyond what is disclosed in this Privacy Policy and our Play Store data safety declaration.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or payment gateway policies. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
